Oh no, do not worry! This is not a list of 75 professional tips. This is customer support before a customer requires support. This is marketing the way it has always been done. Customer service is not a department. Customer service is company wide and word of mouth.

When you service clients and their event guest, there are multiple opportunities at that event after the service is completed to make great impressions with guest. These impressions are opportunities to  not only refer customers and be rewarded, but ideally fill your calendar as well. Event guest eyes may be on you during that service you are providing. Here are a couple tips to maintain good professionalism and be customer-centric:

  1. Timeliness
Continuously be on schedule. This heightens customer satisfaction  during events and weddings just as much as answering messages, emails, and telephone calls.

  2. Friendly, Polite Manner
Maintain essential guidelines of gratitude. This means keeping up an agreeable, good-natured way of business during the customer client connection and service.

  3. Respectful
Continuously admire deeply. Keep in mind of your client's time and the event client's guest with consideration.

  4. Dress Professionally, but Comfortable
Dress like you have a place at the occasion you are capturing. You should plan to mix in with the group. This does not mean formal attire for men or a formal dress for ladies all the time, but a good rule of thumb is to wear black (unless this is an all white event : ). In case you are uncertain of what to wear, decide in favor of alert and overdress for the event.

  5. Use Appropriate Language and Tone and Listen Effectively
Tune in to your client. This will enable you to decide their needs and prerequisites for the event. Even when comfortable, continuously use  suitable language and manner when speaking.

  6. Show Sensitivity to Gender/ Cultural and Social Differences
Each client and their guest are extremely important. Your experience as an eventPRO will be much easier if your opinion on sexual orientation, culture, and economics remain respectful and more neutral. Understanding these distinctions will give you a more respected edge when working with clients. It will not just make your experience more simple, but also your clients may value your direction of opinion outside the topics above more often.

  7. Understand Client Desires
The initial step to understanding client desires is tuning in. When you have recognized the client's necessities and desires, it will be easier to give suitable items and services. It is important that every item and service surpasses the client's desires and expectations.

  8. Communicate Clearly and Effectively
eventPROs should almost always communicate unmistakably and successfully. This implies communication  ought to be conveyed in a straightforward way that is effectively comprehended. Viable correspondence keeps everybody in agreement, adds to the event, and guarantees more satisfied customers.

  9. Educate the Clients on Any Issues and Developments That Include Them
Servicing clients could include a few last-minute changes and issues throughout the process. It is significant that eventPROs determine carefully when it is important to communicate to clients regarding any issues that would legitimately affect them or their event. Continuously keep the client up-to date if there's an issue as well.

  10. React to the Client Immediately
Clients will contact the eventPRO all through the procedure. It is essential to react to the client right away. Regardless of whether you can not furnish them with the appropriate response right then and there, illuminate them that you are attempting to find them a solution and they ought to hope to hear once more from you by a particular time/date (or window).

  11. Remain Centered and Focused Remain focused on your event as an eventPRO. Try not to become completely involved with the energy of the occasion as a guest and neglect to work. You are free to visit with guests about the service and mingle, however keep servicing as agreed to. You are there to service and not ONLY take an interest in the occasion.

Know this is not a comprehensive rundown; use good judgment to fill in the holes : )
