GUEST, PLUS CELL PHONES

Quick Two (2) Minute Read

Yes, cell phones are becoming a lingering bother... for some of us. In today's world, phones are everywhere. About 65% of online surfing and website visits comes from a mobile device. Online posting of many occasions occur at events to document the moment alone.

There are multiple articles out there that state ways to unplug guest from their cellular devices. Those ideas range from asking guest on invitations not to use their phones or simply holding phones when a guest enters the event / wedding. Seems a bit much, however for some events do require that level of multiple announcements that state, "NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY PLEASE AND THANK YOU". Yeah, who listens  to that.

At this time, we believe in embracing change for the greater good, especially when they are paradigm changes. You know - those pivotal changes that affect a great amount of people and business practice in a given area or industry.  Instead of asking a guest to put away their phone to get the "perfect" photo, how about zooming in on the device's screen picture to get the shot the guest is trying to get. It creates a less cliché photo as well. Talk about having an assistant who does not know they are assisting with documenting a special moment : )

It is different, it is fresh, it is personable to include the reality from our current state within a frame a client can 4EVR (forever) reflect on.  This is a shot truly appreciated when seen after post-production. Let us remain and maintain our invisibility and professionalism to better service the bride, groom, party, and / or event guest.
